    1. Rob Young,

I’m working on a couple more units for the Naval Brigade and will then think about adding some coastal defence artillery … possible manned by sailors.

      All the best,

      Bob

  2. Bob -
That is a really tasty formation!

You know, it puts me in mind of the 6th (Poona) and 7th (Meerut) Divisions that I used for my Medifluvian battles of a few years ago. They were fine formations also, though the Turcowaz were apt to knock holes and dents in them!

Speaking of Medifluvian, I have constructed campaign maps for the Azurian and Medifluvian theatres of war, and will probably use the Kavkaz campaign for the Abkhasia theatre to begin with.

For the latter, Battle of Tekhuri River has been fought - more a postscript to the Kavkaz Campaign than the beginning of the Little Great War. Some sort of uneasy armistice lay over the region until the larger flare-up.

Gradually the prep work for the War proper is being done...

I look at your armies and reckon one could have a huge conflagration with those! Real wargamery armies!
    Cheers,
    Ion

    1. Archduke Piccolo (Ion),

The intention is that the 1st and 2nd Divisions and the Cavalry Brigade will usually serve in a home defence role with the BEFF and the Naval Brigade serving abroad as required. The latter can be reinforced by units drawn from the home defence force should the need arise.

I want to add a further European-style army - based on the nineteenth century Russian army - and some smaller native armies. I also want to draw some maps covering the most likely campaign areas and to add some ships … and the latter is already underway.

I look forward to seeing your battle report … and I suspect that your Little Great War will be underway before mine is.

      All the best,

      Bob
