Implement a Command Range, then make ordering a unit outside that range cost an extra action point.

Just a thought.
Regards,
JohnThe Ferrymenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741552972862333515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-30762508660384905822011-05-20T14:40:37.772+01:002011-05-20T14:40:37.772+01:00Ross Mac,

It also seemed to gently force the players to do things the right way (i.e. to keep reserves so that they could exploit a breakthrough or plug a gap).

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-62605655262214730902011-05-20T13:49:24.081+01:002011-05-20T13:49:24.081+01:00We had contemplated something of that sort as well...We had contemplated something of that sort as well in addition to contemplating a distance limitation (our command stands lurked well in the rear). In the end we decided to wait on the first until we had more games under our belts and thus a better feel. On the 2nd, we decided that the extra complication wan't worth it. Having a reason to bring the commanders forward to support would solve both issues.

That Quatre Bras game was good!Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-83329069500789159732011-05-20T11:37:04.112+01:002011-05-20T11:37:04.112+01:00Bluebear Jeff,
