When things like this happen, you can either stay at home and be frightened, or keep on doing the things you usually do and accept the risk. The whole process of living is risky, so why not embrace it and live life to the full for as long as you can.

Unless it was genuinely criminal in nature, I see no reason why any members of the British armed forces should be prosecuted for what they did whilst on duty in Northern Ireland. As I understand it, the Agreement gave an amnesty to members of the IRA but did not extend that to members of the armed forces because they were acting under the legal protection of being serving soldiers under orders.

It is my personal opinion that the PSNI is pursuing this matter because the Northern Ireland's Minister of Justice (who I understand is a Republican) is following a political agenda and is not that interested in any form of reconciliation.

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-47824756059543971842017-09-17T12:27:27.815+01:002017-09-17T12:27:27.815+01:00Well done for venturing out, the natural Londoner ...Well done for venturing out, the natural Londoner approach as I understand it.

re the protest, I would think that any prosecutions should be of officers not soldiers.Ross Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-7417415898770963882017-09-17T09:16:49.370+01:002017-09-17T09:16:49.370+01:00Archduke Piccolo,

He is obviously too engrossed in welcoming visitors on the ground floor level to undertake the more menial task of killing mice ... a task better left to thugs like Larry.

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-45635307115426392342017-09-17T08:42:54.254+01:002017-09-17T08:42:54.254+01:00Palmerston looks like a real gentleman, and some w...Palmerston looks like a real gentleman, and some wise individual has figured out his 'true' name. He sits up, and expects to be greeted with a chin stroke or two ... and sometimes even a present!

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-1610009407183724582017-09-17T00:55:31.480+01:002017-09-17T00:55:31.480+01:00Nice to see that the cat acts like a cat and is no...Nice to see that the cat acts like a cat and is not awed by its illustrious surrounding.
