I decide to go the route of 28mm as it seems a good size for company sized actions i.e. it seems to work very well with late WW1 wargames with their mix of trench warfare and manoeuvre, which is similar to the tactics employed during the Chaco war.
Regards and Happy New Year,
MarkThe Wilde Goosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078032098900017477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-1170443877882396182014-01-01T01:04:06.295+00:002014-01-01T01:04:06.295+00:00The Wilde Goose,

If it's of any interest I released a range of 28mm figures for the Chaco War yesterday. It is also a great basis for a war between to small imagi-nations ... as Herge showed in his Tintin book THE BROKEN EAR. The book also provides lots of ideas/background for 'pulp fiction' adventures.

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-58316075382134043942013-12-10T10:35:06.643+00:002013-12-10T10:35:06.643+00:00Chris,

Has enough to get me started--like I need another period...

I recently ran a YouTube search for things like the Chaco War, Russo-Turkish War of 1877, Balkan Wars, etc. There is a surprising amount of material there, generally posted by people in other countries; this means I can't understand the narration, of course, but the pictures/film clips are priceless!

Best regards,

ChrisChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05091296131481416326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6933470253715910366.post-73086088795617887042013-12-09T13:51:41.737+00:002013-12-09T13:51:41.737+00:00Ross Mac,
