German opposition for my T34s

My collection of German tanks that were manufactured by Corgi includes five Pzkpfw IV, three Pzkpfw V Panther, and three Pzkpfw VI Tiger 1 tanks.

It is a great pity that Corgi did not make any Pzkpfw III tanks ... but that is the way things pan out sometimes.

  1. Achtung Panzer! Corgi also made a Pz4F-2 with the long 75mm gun. I expect the ROCO Pz3 would fit in nicely with that lot.

This must be the pursuit of wargamers of 'that certain age'.... I did the same and discovered sooo many WW2 1/76 vehicles it's not funny.. what was I thinking?

Oh, that's right, there's a touch of the megalamaniac in all of us..LOL
    Kind regards

  3. Tim Gow,

Thanks for your 'heads up'. I have now tracked some down ... and I hope to acquire some in the very near future.

I think you are right about the ROCO Pzkpfw IIIs; they will look good alongside the Corgi tanks.

    All the best,

    Bob

  4. Robin Sutton,

Discovering these tanks and soft skin vehicles has reawakened my interest in fighting large-scale World War II battles, particularly those between Germany and Soviet Russia.

    Megalamania it might be ... but if I wasn't a megalomaniac I wouldn't be a true wargamer would I?

    All the best,

    Bob
