Downloadable 'How to ...' guides

I am giving serious consideration to turning my recent 'How to ...' blog entries into downloadable guides. This will made them easier for current blog readers to access them and will mean that people who have not read the original blog entries will be able to find and use them without having to trawl through the entirety of my blog entries to find what they want.

  1. Bob,

Sounds like a good idea to me . . . "how to" articles are always good . . . and too many get "lost" in the volume of our net notes.

  2. Vexillia did that with his DBMM Befuddled to Mystified articles. A very useful exercise. I am following your posts with great interest with an eye to making a 25mm river gun boat for vsf.

  3. Hi Bob,

Great idea although reading through your blog entries to find something specific is never usually dull, mainly just distracting!

    All the best,

  4. Tim Gow, Bluebear Jeff, Pat G, and David Crook,

The consensus so far seems to indicate that this might be a good idea ... so I will finish the next 'How to ...' blog entry and then I will turn them all into a downloadable format.

    All the best,

    Bob

  5. Peter Douglas,

With luck that should be by this time next week at the latest.

    All the best,

  6. Blogger has done it again!

I had a very useful comment from Chris Kemp which I wanted to 'Publish' ... only for the message to disappear when I selected that option.

What Chris suggested was to have the proposed downloads as 'Pages' on my blog, and I am going to see if that is possible as it makes a lot of sense.

    All the best,

    Bob
