4,000 'hits' ... in a week!

This blog passed an interesting milestone yesterday. For the first time since I started writing it in 2008 it received over 4,000 'hits' in a week. (The actual number was 4,099 ... which averages out at 585.6 'hits' per day).

I find this amazing ... and I would like to thank every person who has bothered to read my blog at some time during the last four and a half years, and especially to those who regularly follow it and make comments.

Here's to the next milestone!

  1. I changed my site to Dynamic View and was getting 1,500 hits a day. But popular demand means that I have reverted to 'classic' view and 300 hits a day.

I may go back - I miss the huge peaks on my viewing stats!

  3. Phil Broeders,

1,500 'hits' per day! I have quite a way to go to catch up with that sort of 'hit' count.

I toyed with going 'dynamic' ... but decided against it when I realised that not all browsers worked well with it.

    All the best,

    Bob

  4. Don M,

I will have to build more boats then! (It’s as good an excuse as any ... and it’s the best I can come up with at the moment.)

    All the best,

    Bob
