Warship 2012

I have been buying WARSHIP annual for the last thirty four years, and this year's edition arrived today. (Technically it was a quarterly publication when it was first published, but I always bought the annual hard-bound compilation until it became an annual.)

So far I have only been able to have a quick look through, but it contains articles entitled:
  • Building the Grand Fleet: 1906-16 by Ian Johnston, Brian Newman, and Ian Buxton
  • Jules Verne and Le Gladiateur by John Jordan
  • TB 191 - A Tasmanian Torpedo Boat by Mark Briggs
  • The Loss of the Giuseppe Garibaldi by Zvonimir Freivogel
  • Conduite du Tir Part 2: 1900 to 1913 by John Spencer
  • Modern AAir-Independent Propulsion Equipped Submarines by Conrad Waters
  • Yahagi: One Light Cruiser at Leyte Gulf by Mike Williams
  • Russia's 'American' Monitors: The Uragan Class by Stephen McLaughlin
  • The Battleship Gaulois by Philippe Caresse
  • The Cruiser Family Talbot by Keith McBride
  • The Battlecruisers of the Kongo class by Hans Lengerer
  • The Limits of Naval Power by Colin Jones
  • Warship Notes
  • Naval books of the Year
  • Warship Gallery
WARSHIP 2012 is edited by John Jordan (assisted by Stephen Dent) and published by Conway (ISBN 978 1 84486 156 9). Its cover price is £40.00, but it may be available for less via some online retailers.
