I am off to the wilds of the Wiltshire/Oxfordshire border this morning to take part in a multi-player Megablitz battle set in north eastern France in 1940. I am one of the French team ... and I am fully expecting to find myself spending most of the day fighting a number of rearguard actions against the armoured might of the German Army.
It should be a fun and very busy day ... and I know that the company and food will be excellent.

ReplyDeleteI know that Tim Gow has run some smaller Megablitz games in the Sheffield area. Is that still too far south for you to get to? If not, contact Tim and I am sure that he will include you in the this of people who are interested in taking part.

Given that I'm public transport Sheffield can be tricky to get to as it is on a branch line rather than the main lines that serves Liverpool/Manchester/Huddersfield/Leeds/York. The trains stop rather early too.
