I have been to ... the Artillery Museum, St Petersburg: The model of the Battle of Borodino
The Museum contains several battle dioramas that have been modelled using large numbers of 'flats'. Of these the diorama depicting the Battle of Borodino was – in my opinion – the most impressive.
There were several other dioramas in the museum that were created using flats, but this was the most impressive ... and the only one that I managed to photograph.
