This day by day thing in real time is quite interesting. Doesn't seem like yesterday since the revolution started and Barcelona, Catalonia, Aragon were collectivised/run by the unions. Already we're into the first major government repression. Intellectually, I knew the date and timeline but this approach makes you feel it more.
I am very pleased that you appreciate this day-by-day account of the events of the Spanish Civil War.
I have mainly used the text from the chronology I produced for my book LA ULTIMA CRUZADA, with a few additional images added to enhance the visual aspect of each blog entry. There are going to be a flurry of additional entries over the next few days, followed by a bit of a gap.
