Sue and I returned yesterday from a cruise to the Baltic aboard P&O's MV Arcadia. Along the way we visited Denmark (twice!), Germany, Sweden, Finland, and Russia ... and I have loads of stuff to write blog entries about!
Today is going to be very busy as we plough through everything that has to be done once one has returned from a holiday (washing dirty clothes, putting our luggage away, shopping for food to fill our empty larder and fridge, etc.), but with luck I hope to write a long and detailed blog entry about our cruise later this week.

Dear Bob, A fascinating part of the world, so steeped in history. I received my copy of Developing the Portable Wargame this morning and have spent a very pleasurable afternoon in the back yard reading through it. It is very good indeed and adds much to volume one. Very thought provoking indeed. I had never thought of incorporating air power before, perhaps due to my complete inability to paint the planes ! I read War Diaries of a Little Englander and enjoy his air toys instead. Many thanks.

I am very pleased that you have enjoyed reading my latest book, and that they have made you think about using air power in your games. The rules are very simple and quick to use (some would say too simple!) but were designed from the start to work with the rules I had written for land warfare.
