Work on re-writing my book about Spanish Civil War is still continuing, but it is gradually reaching the stage when the text will be complete and all that remains is to add the illustrations and format it prior to sending it to Lulu.com.
The book is split into six parts, which are:
As a break from my work on the book I have been slowly but surely painting Heroscape hex tiles. To date I have finished painting those that I will use for temperate (i.e. green) areas, and I am about halfway through painting those for arid (i.e. sandy) areas. As this is a 'no rush, no thinking involved' project, it provides an ideal break from writing as well as giving me the opportunity to relax and listen to CDs of Tony Robinson reading abridged versions of Terry Pratchett's DISCWORLD stories.

Must get hold of some of those Discworld readings. Sounds like the ideal accompaniment to war games projects...
ReplyDeleteArchduke Piccolo,
DeleteI picked them up from a shop called THE WORKS. I don't know if this retail exists outside the UK, but it specialises in discounted books, craft supplies, toys, and seasonal items. Each four-disk set cost me £5.00 each or two for £8.00.
All the best,
Bob
Looking forward to the book being available Bob.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pete.

DeleteI am a bit behind schedule thanks to attending Connections UK 2017, but I hope to start work again on the last sections of the book very soon.
All the best,
Bob
