My latest book sales figures

The latest sales figures for my books arrived yesterday and I was glad to see that sales of THE PORTABLE WARGAME and DEVELOPING THE PORTABLE WARGAME continue to be good.


I had hoped that LA ULTIMA CRUZADA would have sold better by now, but I understand that Amazon are being rather slow supplying their customers with copies, and they don't included their sales in the figures they send to Lulu.com until the books have actually been despatched.

    Good to see the Portable books doing well, Bob. I know I like them a lot, and they're currently inspiring me to paint up some 28mm Napoleonics which I wouldn't be doing otherwise, so thanks for that :-)

      I find it encouraging that both PW books continue to sell well.

      I'm pleased at my efforts have encouraged you to paint some Napoleonic figures, especially as I have a PORTSBLE NAPOLEONIC WARGAME book in the planning stage.

      Thanks for the best wishes for you the New Year, and I hope that you and yours also enjoy 2018.

      As far as I can calculate, at the present rate my total book sales will go through the 2.000 barrier during January ... which is about one hundred times the number I ever hoped to sell!

    Hi Bob,

    My copy of La Ultima Cruzada ordered from Amazon is scheduled to arrive between 22/01 and 08/02. I should have the ships painted by then for the naval side!

      I don't understand why Amazon is taking so long to fulfil orders for my book. I am giving serious thought to handling some of my book sales myself in future rather than relying on online retailers.
