After much discussion with the technical staff at our ISP, I installed a new FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program on my computer ... and I can now upload new and amended webpages to the Wargame Developments website!
With luck this will mean that I will be able to upload the PDF version of the latest copy of THE NUGGET to the website later this week so that members with the password will be able to read it online.
On and off, solving this has taken up a lot of my time over the past few days, and now that the problem is solved, things can begin to get back to whatever passes for normal!
The name of the new FTP program is FileZilla.
It is a free software, cross-platform FTP application, and took only a matter of minutes to download, install, and get running. It is faster than the previous FTP I was using and seems to be more user-friendly.

Technology don't you love it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it already - making mental note to fill in the AAR off-side reports asap
Geordie an Exile FoG,
DeleteWhen it works, it's wonderful ... but when it doesn't, it's a real pain!
Your article about COW is in this issue, which is no mean feat for a first-time attendee.
All the best,
Bob
PS Good luck in advance for the Connection's Game :)
