I have finished gluing my dice holder together, and they look like this:
I will try them out before I paint them, but to get some idea what they would look like I have placed some alongside some of the figures from my collection.
They don't look too bad, even in their unpainted state, and when put alongside the large figures, they seem far less intrusive.

Or their uniforms match the umpires' cardigans! (On Game of War they took care to avoid it.)
ReplyDeleteIf troops must be followed by markers to indicate their status, these have the merit of being neat and less obtrusive than the piles of small blue 'Disorganisation' tiddly winks we used to use at Chestnut Lodge.

The dice holders are a lot less intrusive than I thought that they might be, and I am looking forward to using them in the near future.

I use these on round bases which have been earth textured and tufted. They work really well.

Leave them as they are, or, paint them plainly or, paint them fancily, or, static grass them. Your choice.

They look pretty good, Bob. Come to think of it, I have a few square whatsits like yours I can use to augment my own dice holders. Reckon knocking those together and my card holders might be my next project...
