Other people's Portable Wargame battle reports: The Battle of Perwez du Pahaux

As a follow-on from his previous brigade-level action at Perwez, Archduke Piccolo has now fought a divisional-level battle using my PORTABLE NAPOLEONIC WARGAME rules. This saw a larger, fresh French force attack the reinforced, victorious North German troops who were occupying the town of Perwez.

What follows is a small selection of some of the photographs he used to illustrate his battle report.

Whereas his first battle was fought on a squared grid, for this battle Archduke Piccolo has used a hex grid. He has also added some interesting notes regarding the figures he used.

  1. Thanks for the plug! The Army Corps level action has also been published. Some issues emerged with certain types of combat that I discuss briefly.

      All the best,
