Yesterday I finished the layout of the forthcoming THE PORTABLE IRONCLADS WARGAME book that has been written by David Crook. I’ve written a couple of appendices for the book as well as editing it … and we hope to publish it in time for Christmas.
We intend it to be available in three formats:
- Coloured hardback
- Coloured softback
- Coloured PDF
We don’t yet know the price of each format, but we hope to keep them as low as possible.

DeleteLast night David and put our heads together to sort out the final details. There are a couple of things that need doing, then it will be going off to be proofread … then it’ll be published.

Interesting development, I shall look forward to reading (and playing). Will it have a particular focus, like ACW Ironclads or European Ironclads? Carl

DeleteThe rules are aimed at ACW ironclads, but will be usable with European ironclads up to 1880.
