The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month

Today marks the one hundred and fifth anniversay of the Armistice that ended the fighting on the Western Front.

'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.’

We will remember them.

  1. We paused at 11.00am to remember those that made the ultimate sacrifice and will do so again tomorrow. It's the least we can do.

    1. Steve J.,

We did likewise whilst out shopping today, along with all the supermarket’s staff and almost all of the customers. We will also be attending a service at St George’s Church, Woolwich tomorrow.

As you write, it’s the very least that we can do.

      All the best,

      Bob
