I have been to … the Naval Museum, Malta: The Anadrian Hall

The Anadrian was a steam-powered grab dredger that formerly worked in Malta’s Grand Harbour. When she was scrapped parts of her were preserved and these form the bulk of the exhibits in the Anadrian Hall.

The Hall is dominated by the Anadrian’s steam reciprocating engine (which was built by Ferguson Brothers, Port Glasgow) …

… and her bridge.

There were also models of various types steam engine …

… and a steam-powered model boat that had been built by Dockyard Apprentices at the beginning of the twentieth century.
