My Torpedo Boat Destroyers

I finally got my act together and built some torpedo boat destroyers for my forthcoming naval wargame session at COW2016 (this year's Conference of Wargamers, which will be held in July).

The eight ships fall into two almost identical classes, with only the length of the two groups of four ship defining which class they are in. All I have to do now is to paint them ... and then the play-testing can begin!

  1. Almost impossible to tell the two classes apart... Just right for Jutland then!

    1. Edwin King,

I'd like to say that having two very similar classes was deliberate ... but the truth is that it wasn't.

      All the best,

      Bob

    1. William Stewart,

Now they are built, they need to be painted ... and I intend to do that as soon as possible.

      All the best,

      Bob

    1. Steven Page (Steve),

Cheers! I must admit that I am pleased with the way they have turned out.

  4. Hi Bob,

They look really good and complement the rest of the collection perfectly. A grand fleet review of the entire collection when painted is definitely in order!

    All the best,

    DC

    1. David Crook,

Thanks very much for your kind comment. I have tried to keep the same 'look' in all of these models, and I think that I have been successful.

I hope to have a fleet review (or even two!) as soon as these ships have been painted.

      All the best,

      Bob
