In the light of various feedback and comments I have simplified the solution even further, and now only a single D6 die is required.
I have also been working on developing the extended version of the MEMOIR '44 rules to incorporate some additional types of unit, and I feel that I am almost at the point where I can playtest them alongside my solo-play Command Card system.

There is another option. You could download Memoir 44 online and just play against the computer. It does limit you to playing by the rules as written though. It's free to download, but pay to play, though the free starter pack should give you about 30-40 games before you have to invest.
ReplyDeleteI blew €30 on credit last year and still have only burned through about 10% of it.
Conrad Kinch,
ReplyDeleteI had considered the online option ... but I am a dyed-in-the-wool toy solderist and I am not a great lover of computer games. It also sounds like it could be expensive if you really got into playing online!
All the best,
Bob
