The water supply company did manage to fix the supply problem last night as promised, and in the end we did not need all the bottled water we acquired. At present the bottles are neatly stacked in our entrance hall ... and we are not quite sure what to do with them. We could drink the water ... but we now do not need to. We could pour it away ... but that would seem to be a massive waste. We could store it 'just in case' ... but we don't know where.
It is a dilemma ... but I am sure that my wife will come up with an answer that somehow involves me doing a lot of work that I would rather avoid.
C'est la vie!

Sell it on eBay, Bob - people will buy anything it seems to me....
ReplyDeleteSteve-the-Wargamer,
ReplyDeleteUnless I dehydrate it, it will be very expensive to post.
All the best,
Bob
Why not use it as realistic scenery for your next naval wargame?
ReplyDeleteYour wife seems to operate similar to mine. Pretty much any solution to a problem seems to involve me in something that has nothing to do with wargaming.
ReplyDeleteDick Bryant,
ReplyDeleteAn excellent idea!
All I need to do now is build a big enough pool to hold the water.
All the best,
Bob
Bill.
ReplyDeleteI understand that most wives follow the same Standard Operating Procedure when it comes to finding 'solutions' to 'problems'!
All the best,
Bob
