The Wehrmacht certainly have a lot of artillery! In reading about the Second World War I was amazed to learn how horses were still relied on so heavily for transport, though they don't appear much in wargames of the period that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteMaudlin Jack Tar,
DeleteI have some heavier artillery awaiting renovation, and hope to get them done by Christmas.
The Germans used a lot of horses, and although I plan to have vehicle prime movers for most of my artillery, some of the lighter artillery will be drawn or carried by horses.
All the best,
Bob
I find I get a certain satisfaction from refurbishing and using "old stuff" rather that replacing it.
ReplyDeleteRoss Mac,
DeleteI totally agree. I also find renovating old figures and vehicles very satisfying as well as being much cheaper than buying new stuff.
All the best,
Bob
Nice collection of 50mm At ;)
ReplyDeleteYou will need them against those T34's in Russian and Grants in dessert!
Geordie an Exile FoG,
DeleteI have more T-34s in my collection than all the other tanks added together! I suspect that the 50mm Pak guns will have to have an astronomical kill-rate to deal with them all.
All the best,
Bob
