Whilst looking through the pile of REALLY USEFUL BOXES that I store a large number of my wargame figures in, I came across a number of painted Minifig American World War I figures. They had been given to me some years ago by a fellow member of Wargame Developments and player of my PORTABLE WARGAME, Nick Huband. A quick count up made me realise that I had enough figures to create a small FUNNY LITTLE WARS/PORTABLE WARGAME army ... and they will soon become the basis of the Army of Stalbania!
The figures are in good condition and will only need a little bit of repainting before I can varnish and base them, and then they will be able to take their place alongside the armies of Burgundy, Schwarzenberg, and Khakistan.
Looking forward to seeing pics, Bob…are they in doughboy hats, like the old Airfix range, or have they gravitated to steel helmets?

DeleteOther than the commander - who is wearing a peaked cap - they are wearing the Overseas Cap (the folding fore-and-aft cap).
All the best,
Bob
Looking forward to seeing these…

DeleteWith a bit of luck, they should be renovated, varnished, and based by the weekend.
All the best,
Bob
