BOB,
ReplyDeleteNice work there on your Britannia Army - I particularly like your Naval Brigade - excellent looking figures. Cheers. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteCheers! It';s part of my Belle Époque project that I've been wanting to get done for some time ... and adding the Naval Brigade seemed to make the whole thing complete.
All the best,
Bob
BOB,
DeleteIs the Scale for your units- 1 Figure represents 30 men? I'd be interested to know what your thoughts are. Cheers. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteIn my rules, individual bases notionally represent approximately battalion-sized units.
All the best,
Bob
Bob - they look great! As I see you are using Peter Laing artillery with your Belle Epoque armies - and those are actually Peter's Russian Putilov guns - would you like to some Laing 18pdrs to go with this army? I have some spares if so
ReplyDeleteIan Drury,
DeleteCheers! I decided to go with the Peter Laing artillery because I had several to hand, although I did use a modified British 13-pounder as the basis for the Naval Artillery’s armament. Thanks very much for the offer of some spare 18-pounders. At present, I don’t want to change the guns used by the Britannic Army, but if and when I do, I’ll be in contact.
All the best,
Bob
Beautiful work Bob
ReplyDeleteNickN,
DeleteCheers! I really enjoyed creating this army as it is the first real modelling project I’ve managed to complete since I got some of my mobility back.
All the best,
Bob
Very nice Bod.
ReplyDeleteWillz.
Tiberian General (Willz),
DeleteCheers! I really enjoyed creating this little army.
All the best,
Bob
Excellent work Bob!
ReplyDeleteSteve J.,
DeleteCheers! Must admit that they turned out better than I had hoped.
All the best,
Bob
Excellent army, Bob. Rounds off your Belle Epoch forces a treat.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Ion
Archduke Piccolo (Ion),
DeleteCheers! I do have some more small armies that I want to add … but not in the immediate future.
All the best,
Bob
A splendid looking Army Bob!
ReplyDeleteMaudlin Jack Tar,
DeleteCheers! I hope to see it in action soon.
All the best,
Bob
They look very smart indeed Bob. And it is a surprisingly large army!
ReplyDeleteMartin Rapier,
DeleteCheers! It actually ended up being bigger than I expected … and I haven’t added any reserve or volunteer units yet!
All the best,
Bob
Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteLovely looking army indeed! Methinks the naval brigade need a spiffing looking new gunboat (or two….).
All the best,
DC
David Crook,
DeleteCheers! I have plans in place for a gunboat (or two) and hope to add them to the armed forces of my imagi-nations in due course.
All the best,
Bob
Wonderful looking army Bob very impressed. Are they Essex minis? Thank you Quinn
ReplyDeleteGlory to Ruritania (Quinn),
DeleteCheers! Most of the figures (including the sailors) are from Essex Miniatures.
All the best,
Bob
