Oh dear, I only got twenty!
ReplyDeleteA good many surprises in this list Bob!
ReplyDeleteI'm wary of making a guess on most of them so cannot give a score at all.
28.
ReplyDeleteLegatus Hedlius,
ReplyDeleteI would have said that 20 was a good score!
All the best,
Bob
Jim Duncan,
ReplyDeleteGo on, have a guess! Only you will know how well you have done.
All the best,
Bob
Xaltotun of Python,
ReplyDelete28 is better than I would have done before I looked up the answers!
All the best,
Bob
Mis-spent old age.
ReplyDeleteAnd middle age.
And not forgetting my youth.
Rob
Xaltotun of Python,
ReplyDeleteI could say the same, I'm afraid.
All the best,
Bob
I've encountered around 18, but I couldn't define all of those. (Also, bemused to see Voyageurs on the list. I usually associate those with French Canada... :) )
ReplyDeleteFitz-Badger,
ReplyDeleteI created this list from various sources about the Sudan campaigns, which is why I snuck the 'Voyageurs' in. After all, they were there!
I hope that you enjoyed the 'challenge' of trying to recognise some of the words ... and be warned; there is another Indian-based 'quiz' in the pipeline!
All the best,
Bob
