I managed to take photographs of the world-record model collection that is housed in the Cartagena Military Museum. It is huge, and the coverage will take several blog entries. This is the sixth (and shows individual models rather than display cases full of them!), and I would recommend readers to click on each image so that they can be seen at full size.

I gotta like that Char 2b
ReplyDeleteBut have not a clue about that crazy French thing to teh left of it
Geordie an Exiled FoG,
DeleteI suspect that it is a model of a tank that never made it beyond the tentative drawing board stage of its development.
All the best,
Bob
These models really are great. I onmly wish there was more info about them.
ReplyDeleteThe French tank on the right that Geordie refers to is actually an FCM2C. The one on the left with the two turrets is an FCMF1 which was only ever built as a prototype.
Red_Cardinal,
DeleteThanks for identifying the French AFVs. I’d never heard of the FCMF1 before ‘, and assumed that it was either a prototype or a design that had never been built.
All the best,
Bob
