Book sales

It's a very long time since I bothered to look at my total book sales, but just before I added the latest one (A GALLIMAUFRY OF COLONIAL WARGAMES) to the list published by Eglinton Books, I did so. The results are shown below:

I must admit that I was very surprised to see just how many books had been sold since I started out on my second career as a writer and self-publisher in September 2014. So, in slightly less than ten years I have written and/or published nineteen wargaming or wargame-related books. That averages out at about one every six months, which I think isn't too bad an output for such a niche area of self-publishing.

Cheers! I hope that I can continue to maintain my writing and publishing output for the foreseeable future.

I am hoping it will not be too long before the the next PW Compendium is published ... then I can think about my next project!

      All the best,

      Bob

  2. A book every six months - only Barbara Cartland could beat that! But your books are far higher quality. At this rate, you'll soon have more wargame books to your credit than Donald Featherstone.
    Best wishes, Arthur

I seem to remember reading that Barbara Cartland used to lie on a sofa each morning and dictate her books to her secretary, who would then type up the manuscript so that it was ready for any changes by the next morning. If only I could do that ...

I don't know how many books Donald Featherstone wrote, but Wikipedia lists almost fifty ... so I've got some way to got as yet to beat that number!

      All the best,

      Bob

Cheers! The scale of the sale figures was surprising. As to my current projects ... well, I have plenty to keep me occupied whilst I wait for treatment so that I can walk again.

      All the best,

      Bob
