Making progress....despite the weather!

I have been plowing on with the Celts (and the odd German) with what free
time I have after work and at weekends. The more I have done, the more

Nice photo of an interesting looking early Dreadnought. Do you know the cause of the explosion?
ReplyDeleteWilliam Stewart,
DeleteThe Spanish dreadnoughts were the smallest built, and were barely larger that the last of the pre-dreadnoughts.
The ship had been damaged as a result of a Nationalist air attack, and was being repaired. A small internal explosion started a fire which did extensive damage. There were accusations of sabotage, but they were never substantiated.
All the best,
Bob
