Burgundian Ironclad: Another ChatGPT creation

I have been playing around with ChatGPT again. This time I asked it to design me an 1880s French-style ironclad battleship based on contemporary warships. The results are shown below.

  1. A rather interesting project. Did ChatGPT produce just the image or the entire vessel description, or both?

    1. WEK 3,

ChatGPT created both the characteristics and the image, although I did tweak the former very slightly.

      All the best,

      Bob

  2. Bob - That picture - at least its style of rendition - reminded me of the illustrations of one Chris van Allsburg in picture books. Probably the most intriguing is
    'The Mysteries of Harris Burdick'.
The grayscale pictures were captioned as it were with a line from a storyline text. But the mysteries purported to be a folio of illustrations with captions, submitted to a publisher, but the author (Harris Burdick) never followed up, and apparently disappeared without trace. All the pics have something weird about them, leaving the reader to conjecture what the stories were that led to the illustrations. A really intriguing picture book it is!

'The dark presence of 'Chevalier Rouge' served to empty the ocean for hundreds of miles around of enemy merchant vessels...'
    Cheers,
    Ion

  3. BOBV,
Are you going to build a model Gunboat for your 15mm? Regards. KEV.
