Eighteen million hits!

Earlier today my hit counter passed eighteen million hits.

I am not sure if the AI bots are still making regular visits to my blog and whether they are responsible for the vast majority of hits it has received ... but I suspect that they are! As I wrote recently, I just wish that I got paid for every time that they visited!

      Ray Rousell,

Cheers! At the current rate I should hit twenty million hits by Christmas!

      All the best,

      Bob

You could Ad enable your blog to get some revenue, but I'm sure Google are wise to that. I read that the recent blogger feed outage was Google trying to do something about AI bots, but I don't know if that is true.

      Martin Rapier,

I have been tempted to enable ads ... but I prefer to avoid monetising my blog and my YouTube channel as I don't want to add another layer of complexity to my tax affairs.

      All the best,

      Bob
