Fort Michelangelo: A model of the fort

During one of our visits to Civitavecchia, I bought a small model of Fort Michelangelo. It is about 1:600th-scale ...

... but I've used it in a couple of wargames as a redoubt. Two or three 15mm-scale figures can fit inside the model, and its 'footprint' means that does not take up a lot of space on the tabletop.

  1. You must have had a wry smile on your face when you picked that up in the museum shop ;)

    1. Geordie an Exiled FoG,

Funnily enough, I bought it in a shop that specialised in selling Papal souvenirs rather than a museum or normal souvenir shop.

In retrospect, I wish that I'd bought at least one more ...

      All the best,

      Bob
