I've finally finished writing the text of my PORTABLE NAPOLEONIC WARGAME book, and I've sent it off to be proof-read.
Once my trusty proof-reader has done his job (and hopefully not found too many errors that need to be corrected) I can think about publishing it. That usually takes up to a fortnight, and with Christmas only four weeks away, it looks as if the book will not actually be on sale before early January.
In the meantime, I'm going to take a bit of a break from writing ... although I do have plans in place for my next books, at least one of which will be a wargaming book.

Looking forward very much to the new book.
ReplyDeleteUnknown,
DeleteI wish that I'd managed to get it finished earlier, but I wanted to make it as good as I could, and didn't want to rush its completion.
All the best,
Bob
Well done Bob, best not to rush these things, something for us all to look forward too after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteCan I just ask, did the Travel Battle figures arrive intact? They must have a bit of a shake up whilst in the back of the car for a few months!
'Lee,
DeleteIn fact Lulu.com have just sent out a message that the deadline for getting books etc., uploaded and printed before Christmas is almost upon us, so a delay was inevitable.
The TRAVEL BATTLE arrived very safe and sound, and gets a mention in the book because I used it to try out some the rules changes I made towards the end of the writing process. When the book is ready to be published, I'll let you know so that I can arrange to have a copy sent to you as a small 'thank you'.
Have a great Christmas.
All the best,
Bob
Well done Bob. I hope it's as well received as the previous volumes.
ReplyDeleteRoss Mac,
DeleteEven if it doesn't sell many copies, I've enjoyed writing it ... and that is what is most important.
All the best,
Bob
Bob, Hooray!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes
Anthony
Anthony Morton,
DeleteCheers! I'll be pleased when I finally get this book published.
All the best,
Bob
