I have been to ... Cartagena Military Museum: World-record model collection (5)

I managed to take photographs of the world-record model collection that is housed in the Cartagena Military Museum. It is huge, and the coverage will take several blog entries. This is the fifth, and I would recommend readers to click on each image so that they can be seen at full size.

  1. A fabulous collection of models!

I will crticise the labelling thouigh. - It looks like there's an id number for each vehicle/gun. Presumably one then looks at a seperate key? Quite why they couldn't label each item with its name rather than a number (as there appears to be plenty of space to do so) is a bit of a mystery?

    1. Red Cardinal,

During our visit I saw no list or index that ‘translated’ the individual model IDs.

      All the best,

      Bob

    2. How peculiar. Perhaps they haven't gotten around to drawing up the id keys?

Greta looking models though. I wonder if they're all the work of one person? That would indeed be impressive.

    3. Red_Cardinal,

I suspect that if my Spanish had been better, I might have been able to ask for a list. Unfortunately, the only member of staff on duty spoke no English.

I understand that the majority (if not all) of models are the work of one person.

      All the best,

      Bob
