During a visit to THE WORKS, I saw a copy of GERMAN INFANTRYMAN: OPERATIONS MANUAL by Simon Forty and published by Haynes. Its original cover price was £22.99, but THE WORKS had it on sale for £7.00.
The book is subtitled 'The German Soldier 1939-45 (all models)' and 'An insight into the uniform, equipment, weaponry and lifestyles of the German Second World War soldier' ... and it appears to do exactly that.
Its chapters and sections include:

The last time I referred to a Haynes manual I was replacing the boot latch mechanism on my wife's Honda. I hope your book is easier to understand....

DeleteI've looked in the index, and it appears that the German Infantryman doesn't have a boot latch mechanism ... although with the type of boots they wear, you'd expect to see one.
