Back in 1984, just four years after the foundation of Wargame Developments, Jim Wallman wrote the first edition of the WD Handbook. It was revised and re-written by Tim Price in 1994, and the third edition has recently been revised and re-written for a second time by John Armatys and John Bassett OBE,
The latest edition is now available as a download in PDF format from the Wargame Developments website, and it is hoped to produce a printed version of the handbook in due course.

This is a beefy document! There's way more in here than the usual bylaws and standards of formatting memoranda for the notes of the subcommittee meetings. I may even print this out for bedtime reading.

DeleteIts actually difficult to understand how WD has developed and functioned over the past 43 years without this handbook. It can be a bit dense in places, but it encapsulates a lot of stuff.
