My latest model coastal defence guns are finished

I have finished painting my latest model coastal defence guns ... and I think that they look mighty fine!

With a bit of luck they should be in action later in the week ... possibly somewhere in the vicinity of Naverona!

  1. Winter camouflage? or are they perhaps a light grey?

  2. PS I meant to say that the models look very impressive.

  3. Hi Bob,

These look really good and I cannot wait to see them in action!

I am wondering though as to what the Ruslanders have got up their sleeves to deal with them.

Perhaps a small crack commando unit sailing in by a captured Gulet and scaling the unclimbed side of the island only for one of their number to break their leg etc, etc - sorry, I am getting carried away!

    All the best,

    DC

  5. Ross Mac,

They are painted with Humbrol Light Grey No.64 paint.

    All the best,

    Bob

  8. David Crook,

Hopefully they should be in action very soon indeed!

The Rusland Navy will probably not be represented by a single ship, as the Monopoly (an armoured cruiser) might well be available to join Tsarina.

In the meantime, let your imagination run riot!

    All the best,

    Bob

  10. Nigel Drury,

I must admit that it had not crossed my mind, but I suppose that I could put on a ship vs. coastal defences session at COW2013.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will give it some serious thought.

    All the best,

    Bob
