I have now had the opportunity to photograph the German and Axis figures and vehicles that I have renovated, rebased, and flocked with cork granules, and here they are:

Bob,
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly an extensive collection of figures and vehicles for your German Forces that you have built up- the cork looks good- everything looks very organised and ready for gaming. Regards. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteCheers! This is a fraction of the total number of World War II figures and vehicles that I have. I have quite a few painted figures awaiting renovation, varnishing, and rebasing… and once they are done, I intend to organise the collection into units and formations before I begin my Eastern Front/Great Patriotic War campaign.
All the best,
Bob
Looking very good, but the Germans do seem to have a bit of catching up to do before being to match the renovated Soviet collection. How many more pieces of German equipment remain?
ReplyDeleteMark Cordone,
DeleteI have a huge amount of vehicles (and figures) that remain to be renovated, varnished, and rebased. For example, I have at least as many German trucks to add as well a some StuG IIIs … and that’s without starting on the unpainted stuff.
All the best,
Bob
This cork flocking looks great! I suspect it would look equally at home on a winter table as a summer one. And now I'm thinking about redoing all of my figure bases!
ReplyDeleteJohn Y,
DeleteI’m very pleased that you like the look of the fine cork granules I’ve used on my bases. The colour seems to go reasonably well on most tabletop terrain.
Good luck with redoing your bases.
All the best,
Bob
