Barry Carter is also an avid collector and painter of Peter Laing's figures, and Ian Dury sent me the following photographs of some of Barry's figures.
They include French troops from Napoleon's abortive campaign in Egypt, ...
... some of their Turkish opponents, ...
... and some wonderful Indian elephants.
The elephants certainly don't look like frightened mice to me!

Looking good!
ReplyDeletePhil,
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do look very good.
All the best,
Bob
They are such old friends that I barely recognize them!
ReplyDeleteBarry Carter,
ReplyDeleteIt must be great to have such good old friends.
All the best,
Bob
I always did like Barry´s painting style! I must admit I very copied him when I started black-lining my Peter Laing figures
ReplyDeleteIan
Ian Dury,
ReplyDeleteI am not usually a fan of black-lining on painted wargames figures ... but in the case of Peter Laing Miniatures I think that it really improves the 'look' of the finished figures.
All the best,
Bob
