Despite the distractions of the past week or so, I have had time to renovate, varnish, and base a few more of my British Napoleonic wargame figures ... and here they are:
I now only have some additional Rifles, Artillery, Cavalry and a few officers to finish off, and then this part of the collection will be finished ... for the time being.

Hi Bob I should really get mine rebased as I mounted them on single bases intending to do skirmish type games
ReplyDeleteJohntheone,
DeleteGood luck rebasing your figures.
During the process of renovating, varnishing, and basing my figures, the collection more than tripled in size ... which is why I am still working to complete the project.
All the best,
Bob
Well done. The Napoleonic will near be ready for Battle. Regards. KEV.
ReplyDeleteKev,
DeleteThere are close to 200 French figures still waiting to be renovated, varnished, and based ... and then the collection will be ready!
All the best,
Bob
Hi Bob
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing them on the table, and to see how your proposed campaign progresses
regards
Paul
Paul Leniston (Paul),
DeleteI've still some way to go before the collection will be 100% ready to use ... but hopefully it should not take too long to finish.
All the best,
Bob
There was a time when I would have said 28mm is far too big for Napoleonics but now they seem to be one of the few sizes I can still "see clearly"
ReplyDeleteNurse 'new glasses'
Looking forward to the games
;)
Geordie an Exiled FoG,
DeleteI have loads of 15mm figures, but I find that they are too small for me to paint easily nowadays. 20mm World War 2 is just about manageable because I can use a simple basic block colour plus ink wash method to produce reasonable results that don't end up causing me eye strain and/or a headache.
Age and decrepitude ... they catch up with you eventually.
All the best,
Bob
