I collected the latest edition of THE NUGGET (N309) from the printer yesterday, and I will be posting it out to members of Wargame Developments later today.
I have already uploaded the PDF version of THE NUGGET to the Wargame Developments website so that it can be read online or downloaded and printed.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this is the ninth and last issue of THE NUGGET to be published for the 2017-2018 subscription year.
Details regarding re-subscriptions to Wargame Developments and THE NUGGET will be sent by post in due course.

Nice to see a really full Games Listing of the games being hosted at CoW. How do you decide which ones you go to? Is it a first come first served on the day? No pre-booking unless you are running the game by the sounds of it. I read that traffic held you up last year and you had a bit of a Hobson's choice. I have my eye on your Matrix Game as I want one of those "under my belt" ;)
ReplyDeleteGeordie an Exile FoG,
DeleteMost people put up signing-up sheets for their sessions, and if there is a session you really want to go to it pays to 'sign early and sign often'.
If you can get to Knuston Hall by 5.00pm you'll find that most people have arrived and signed in. I'm not sure when I will be staging my Matrix Game, but I have been know to run it twice if there is sufficient demand.
All the best,
Bob
Cool, you might see me in the grounds trying to assemble a tent .. I'll sign up for the games first .. What time does the "doors open" as I am taking the day off for travelling I should be there relatively early ;)
ReplyDeleteGeordie an Exiled FoG,
DeleteMake sure that you tell Knuston Hall you are selecting the camping onsite option before you put your tent up. They will tell you where to erect it.
Most people arrive from 4.00pm onwards, although 5.00pm is the 'official' start time. A small group usually go for a pre-COW visit, and details if this can be found on the WDDG on Yahoo Groups. I'm sure the would welcome you if you wanted to join them.
See you at COW,
All the best,
Bob
