I hope that you both had a wonderful Christmas. We are on a cruise and eating far too much good food!

      All the best,

We have just got back from Madeira and the Canary Islands. I will be writing a blog post about it as soon as I can.

    4. BOB,
Our chances of visiting these countries is nil- we are far to old and it is a long way to travel. 21 years ago we flew to London, Budapest and Amsterdam- it was most enjoyable- now it is to late. Regards. KEV.

If you’d asked me just over a year ago if I ever thought that I’d go on a cruise again, I would have probably said no … but circumstances change. I cannot fly (most airlines don’t like carrying people with stomas as they can cause problems if cabin pressure fluctuates) but I can still travel by motor vehicle and ships. You might not be able to get outside Australia, but I hope that you will remain fit enough to travel around it.

      All the best,

      Bob

    6. BOB,
I must limit my travelling to BRABURY alone- I'm not very good with movement or balance - I think that I may have Parkinsons - I will need to see my Doctor to confirm this- thanks for the reply. All the best. KEV.

    7. Kev Robertson (Kev),

Sorry to read about your continuing health problems. I’m due to have a minor surgical procedure next month to deal with a problem with my prostate and will involve a night’s stay in hospital.

      Have a great New Year,

      Bob

Cheers! It’s a fairly standard procedure and will hopefully help deal with my current prostrate problem.

      All the best,

  8. Merry Christmas Bob. I took the liberty to borrow your 'Featherstone-style' rules for a (not too serious) Holiday game.

  10. Merry Christmas Bob! I'm having my son visit from the East Coast for the new year and having fun pushing block armies around the table with a new set of rules I picked up from Wargame Vault called Battle Blocks: Sengoku.
It's fun so far but maybe a little too simple. Hope you and Sue are enjoying the season and Happy New Year to you.

And a Merry Christmas to you and your family!

It sounds as if you’re going to have a very enjoyable wargaming New Year … and I’ll certainly be looking at Battle Blocks: Sengoku.

      All the best,

      Bob
