A busy weekend

This weekend has been a busy one for Sue and I. Yesterday – as part of OPEN HOUSE LONDON – we travelled to Westminster in order to visit Horse Guards ...

... and the Banqueting House.

Whilst we were there we also managed to pay a visit to the Household Cavalry Museum, which is housed in part of the Horse Guards building.

This morning I am off to the Skirmish Toy Soldier and Wargames Show in Sidcup, Kent, where I hope to meet other wargamers that I know, including David Crook and Professor Phil Sabin.

The upshot of all this activity is that I am going to have plenty to write about on this blog over the next few days ... so I would advise regular readers to keep visiting it regularly!

    1. Kev,

I got back from the show just after midday, having spent just under hours there. Lots of stuff on sale, including quite a number of sets of antique and reproduction metal 54mm figures. I didn't see much in the way of plastic figures, but one or two trade stands did have a few on sale.

I spent some time looking at the wargames, and I will be writing a blog entry about the show tomorrow.

      All the best,

      Bob
