The first two-minute silence in memory of the fallen was held one-hundred years ago.
‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.’
‘When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.’
Dedicated to the memory of all those who died in the Great War and in all the wars and conflicts that have taken place since then.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.’
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.’
‘We will remember them.’
