Sue and I managed to get away on a cruise at Christmas, and we arrived back just in time to celebrate the New Year at home. (I’ll be writing a long blog post about our cruise sometime soon.)
When I got home there seemed to be loads of things to do, and it is taking me longer than expected to catch up with everything that I missed whilst I was away … so if you sent me an email or wrote a blog post that I haven’t yet commented about, please be patient. I will write my reply or comment just as soon as I have the time to do so. In the meantime, there’s clothes to be washed and put away, luggage to be stowed away, and essential shopping to be done … possibly including a new washing machine as our current one does not seem to be working very well.
Welcome to 2024!
May 2024 bring you better health and many enjoyable voyages.
ReplyDeleteRoss Mac,
DeleteI am seeing the consultant oncologist and radiotherapist before the end of the month, and hopefully I’ll get some good news. As to cruises … well, we have three booked for 2024 and one for 2025, and there’s the possibility of at least one more for 2024.
Unfortunately, none will be visiting Canada … but we’d love to return there at some point.
All the best,
Bob
BOB,
ReplyDeleteMy-My ...you certainly don't miss an opportunity to go cruising- though certain you and Sue enjoyed it greatly. Happy New Year. Regards. KEV.
Kev Robertson (Kev),
DeleteUntil COVID, Sue and I averaged four or five cruise each year … and we are just getting back into the swing of things now that life is back to something approaching normal.
All the best,
Bob
Looks like you had a good time over the holidays. I find the worst part of coming home is unpacking. My family and I went to Lake Tahoe to visit an uncle I hadn't seen in a long time. Glad you're back, Bob!
ReplyDeleteMr. Pavone,
DeleteWe had a great time, and I’ll be uploading a blog post about our cruise later this week.
I hat the packing and unpacking process … but it’s a small price to pay for such a great holiday.
I’ve heard of Lake Tahoe and it looked wonderful in the photos I have looked at online. It looks like a wonderful place to spend a holiday and I hope that you all enjoyed yourselves.
All the best,
Bob
Happy New Year! Bob, hope your cruise was great and have a good time.

Glory to Ruritania (Quinn),
DeleteCheers! May I wish you and yours a great 2024.
The cruise went well, and we came back very relaxed … and well fed!
All the best,
Bob
