Bob,
ReplyDeleteThey look absolutely splendid. Very clean and simple. Well done.
Next thing is to use them in a game of course.
Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteThey both look splendid and I am thinking that an RCW game would be a good bet. It just goes to show what you can do with some cheap 'made in Hong Kong' plastic models and some imagination.
Very well done and I am looking forward to seeing them in action.
All the best,
DC
Bob
ReplyDeleteWonderful stuff! Really looks the part.
Cheers, PD
Chuff chuff chuff, chuff chuff, chuff, chuff, woo hoo
ReplyDelete....
Impressed by your conversion !, Tony
ReplyDeleteThey look just the thing. Well done!
ReplyDeleteConrad Kinch,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for your kind words.
I hope to use some of my new locomotives and rolling stock in a battle in the near future.
All the best,
Bob
That is very, very effective. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteDavid Crook,
ReplyDeleteA Russian Civil War battle would be an ideal opportunity to use my new armoured train (I can almost hear the cheers and chant of 'Strelnikov! Strelnikov!') but I want to finish painting the rest of my conversions first.
The cost of the armoured train and railway gun was £6.00 for two toy train sets plus the cost of the odds and ends from my spares box, the glue I used, and the paint. The total was probably £10.00 or less ... which makes them very cheap indeed.
All the best,
Bob
Peter Douglas,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for your kind words.
I am very pleased with the way the conversions looked when they were finished.
All the best,
Bob
Jim Duncan,
ReplyDeleteDiddley dum, diddley dee, diddley dum, diddley dee!
All the best,
Bob
A.W. Kitchen (Tony),
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your kind words.
I am very pleased with the way these conversions looked when I had painted them. Now all I need to do is to used them on the tabletop.
All the best,
Bob
Ross Mac,
ReplyDeleteThey don't look too bad do they? I must admit that they look better than I had hoped when I began these conversions.
All the best,
Bob
Xaltotun of Python,
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for your kind words. I must admit that I think that these conversions have turned out looking better than I had expected.
All the best,
Bob
Far out! Fine conversions.
ReplyDeleteArchduke Piccolo,
ReplyDeleteCheers! I am very pleased with the way these conversions turned out ... and now that they are painted, they look even better.
All the best,
Bob
Hey Bob,
ReplyDeleteNice job on the armored train! It certainly looks the part and I'm looking forward to its first deployment on the tabletop. Now...all you have to do is to resist the urge to make "Whoo-whoo Train Noises". ;)
Nicely executed Bob :O)
ReplyDeleteMartin,
ReplyDeleteI must admit to being very pleased with the conversions ... and I may well do some more in due course. As to when it will appear in a battle ... soon, I hope!
All the best,
Bob
Chris Kemp,
ReplyDeleteCheers! Thanks for your very kind comment.
I'm surprised that you haven't done something similar. They are exactly the sort of conversions I would have expected you to do.
All the best,
Bob
