Those are sights to stir the blood of an old Ancient's wargamer. (Not yet an ancient ancient's wargamer)
ReplyDeleteRoss Mac,
DeleteI've never been particularly interested in Ancients, but seeing these figures made me realise why wargamers get 'hooked' on them!
All the best,
Bob
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMark Nichipor,
DeleteI'm glad that you enjoyed seeing these photographs.
All the best,
Bob
Brilliant! We are planning a day in Valencia in about two weeks time when our Grandchildren are out so I'll get to see this for myself. Cheers Bob. We are coming to the end of a Gota fria thankfully, it's caused major flooding from Valencia down to Alicante. Warmer and sunnier in London this last week
ReplyDelete'Lee,
DeleteI saw on the BBC News that your area of Spain had been hit by bad weather, but it wasn't until I got home from our most recent cruise that the severity became clear.
I'm sure that you'll have a great time in Valencia, and discovery how impressive the museum is.
All the best,
Bob
Cheers Bob, the sun has returned today but many of the phone videos I have seen over the last week have shown very heavy flooding chest deep, and the Rio Serpis which runs close to here towards Gandia is gushing when it's normally a dry river bed.
ReplyDeleteDaughter and two of the grand children due out next week and Sharon plans to take them to the wonderful Oceanographic centre in Valencia so will combine with a trip to the museum :)
'Lee,
DeleteThe floods looked very bad on the videos that I've seen, and I'm glad that you've escaped the worst of it and that the weather has improved.
Sounds like you've got your trip to Valencia sorted out. I'm not sure what the museum's opening hours are, but they have a website you can access to check.
All the best,
Bob
