This new video (which I uploaded yesterday) provides the background to a scenario that I fought over ten years ago.
The scenario is based on a section of Alexander Korda and H G Wells' film THINGS TO COME and depicts the attack by the Army of Everytown on the Army of the Hill People.

ReplyDeletePerhaps in due course you will have the expertise to do Portable Wargame AARs using stop frame animation so the units appear to move from one grid area to another apparently of their own volition, which I have always thought would be the best way to present toy soldier wargames, after seeing it done with chess games on television years ago.

DeleteCheers! I hope that my videos are getting better as I learn the necessary techniques. My earliest ones used MS PowerPoint but now I am using a combination of that program and Windows Video Editor.
I'm not sure that at the moment I'm up to creating videos that use stop motion animation but I might be able to do something along the lines I used in my 'Attack on Morobad' video (i.e. animated arrows and clouds of smoke).

Just watched the battle report…and was most impressed 👍🏼👍🏼. Are the figures from a recent (?) Imagi-Nations project, or have they been around a while? (I don’t recall seeing them in your posts over the last few years).

The figures were drawn from my World War II 20mm collection and are all Russian figures ... including Factory Militia.
