I understand that despite several problems arising from the use of AI by Amazon KPD to check my manuscript for plagiarism and copyright infringements, the Third Portable Wargame Compendium is now on sale with Amazon (in hardback and softback editions) and Wargame Vault (in PDF format).
The prices are:
- Hardback: £27.50
- Paperback: £20.00
- PDF: £7.50
The hardback, softback, and PDF editions are all over 135 pages long and are in full colour.
Excellent! Will it be available on Kindle?
ReplyDeleteKevin,
DeleteI am waiting for Amazon KPD to release the KIndle edition for sale. It has been 'In Review' for twice the time that it usually takes and they can give me no idea how long this checking progress will take. Sorry.
All the best,
Bob
Glad to hear it will be on Kindle. Looking forward to it. Thanks!
DeleteKevin,
DeleteI just hope that they don't take much longer to make it available on Kindle.
All the best,
Bob
Congratulations Bob, you got there in the end, should sell well.
ReplyDeleteDonnie McGibbon,
DeleteCheers! Things were a bit difficult at times ... but I got there in the end!
All the best,
Bob
So what was the problem Bob and did you need to change anything?
ReplyDeleteNeil
Neil Patterson (neil),
DeleteI'm not sure what the problem was (Amazon KDP never made it clear), but I removed several images that were well out f copyright just in case they were causing the problem.
All the best,
Bob
I placed an order yesterday for the book here in the USA. I was told delivery would be on Sunday. I just checked and it is supposed to be delivered today. Usually there is a little delay before it's available in the States.
ReplyDeleteJhnptrqn,
DeleteYou are doing better than me! I ordered some author's copies and will have to wait until the middle of next week for them to arrive.
All the best,
Bob
Congratulations! It's been available in the States the whole time despite the hiccups.
ReplyDeleteMark Cordone,
DeleteAmazon KDP put it on sale at the same time as telling me that there were problems with the manuscript. Who knows what they are doing ... because I certainly don't!
All the best,
Bob
All's well that ends well.
DeleteMark Cordone,
DeleteI hope so … I really do hope so …
All the best,
Bob
Well done Bob, thank you for all your hard work. Regards Paul.
ReplyDeletePDL (Paul),
DeleteThank you for your kind words.
All the best,
Bob
I just received my new copy of the book. I believe that it is the best Compendium yet. I can't wait for tonight when I can actually start reading it. My only regret is I didn't buy the hard cover edition.
ReplyDeleteJhnptrqn,
DeleteThank you for your great feedback. I must admit that I thought that it was the best to date, but it’s nice to read that other people agree with me.
All the best,
Bob
Bob -
ReplyDeleteIt has been a journey, has it not? Now nearing its end, perhaps.
Congratulations!
Ion
Archduke Piccolo (Ion),
DeleteThanks for your help in getting there.
Here’s to the next one!
All the best,
Bob
Another fine addition to the PW "canon" Bob! Packed full of inspiration. A bargain at €9.16.
ReplyDeleteMaudlin Jack Tar,
DeleteCheers! I’m pleased that you’ve enjoyed it.
All the best,
Bob
Absolutely worth every penny!
ReplyDeleteAnthony Morton,
DeleteThanks for your review! I'm very pleased to read that you enjoyed it.
All the best,
Bob
Congratulations Bob, quite the feat considering your health issues. Mind and will power tackles obstacles and wins!
ReplyDeleteRoss Mac,
DeleteCheers! Working on the latest compendium has helped me to concentrate on something other than my health ... and now I've got to find a new project to work on.
All the best,
Bob
